Scotonomics Festival

I’ll be in Leith for the Scotonomics festival March 19-21! You can buy tickets to the whole weekend or individual events; if you’re in the area do come through!

I’m chairing a session opening night, 9:00 PM – 10:15 PM, at the Leith Dockers Club, on Historical Economic Injustice – why and how the past repeats itself, and how to break the cycle. Dr. Ewan Gibbs (Coal Country, An Injury to All) and Neil McInroy (The Democracy Collaborative) will discuss what genuine community wealth building and democratic control of Scotland’s natural resources could look like.

And then I’m speaking (naturally) about Donald Trump on Saturday the 21st, 5:00 PM – 6:15 PM at The Out of The Blue Drill Hall, alongside Joe Guinan, President, The Democracy Collaborative, Kali Akuno, Co-Founder, Cooperation Jackson, Thomas Hanna, VP Research & Policy, The Democracy Collaborative join us to discuss the economic future of America, and Joana Ramiro, Communications Director, The Democracy Collaborative.
